Description
In this position, you report to Elodie Plan, Chief Business Development Officer, with whom you will be working closely and support with market strategy initiatives. As Business Development Manager your responsibility includes developing and implementing comprehensive market strategies and guiding client solutions and client success, which involves:
- Analyzing market trends and industry data
- Leading and managing the Market Research and Analysis team
- Identifying new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events
- Collaborating with the marketing team on strategies and campaigns
Your role
In this role you will:
- Support in developing Pharmetheus pricing strategy
- Identify opportunities for new service offerings based on market research and client feedback
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
As Business Development Manager you will be leading one direct report, Business Development Analyst, which we are currently recruiting.
Your skills and qualifications
Our qualification requirements are, at the lowest level:
- Master’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field and/or a MSc in Clin Pharm & Pharmacometrics
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior business development or similar
- Proven experience in market analysis, strategic planning, and managing business growth
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to implement business strategies and initiatives
- Excellent understanding of drug development and the dynamics of collaborations between pharmaceutical companies and clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics providers
- Excellent leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring staff
- Strong proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent English in speech and writing
You enjoy working in a structured manner and with clear deadlines. You have an analytical mindset and like to interpret and summarize market data. You are able to work independently, but also collaborate with and support colleagues.
Placement: From one of our offices in Uppsala, Paris, Basel or Utrecht or remotely from your home office located in one of the EU-countries or in the US.
Employment: Full-time permanent position.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
