Publication: Training the next generation of pharmacometric modelers

When the current demand for pharmacometricians outmatches the supply, it is urgent to establish the skills demanded to excel in the field and collectively advance it. Our colleague, Elodie Plan, shares her view in this publication, alongside several leading experts in academia, industry, contract research organizations, clinical medicine, and regulatory. The authors of the publication discuss several angles, such as three areas of expertise necessary for a pharmacometrician to possess: technical competence, contextual knowledge, and soft skills, and how life-long learning will be key as the field evolves.
