At Pharmetheus, we demonstrate our dedication to quality education by producing the highest level of education and leading the development of pharmacometrics, medicine, and related fields. Our training program allows us to share specialized knowledge, support and motivate students, including those in environments with limited pharmacometrics knowledge.
Initiatives
Support of Uppsala Pharmacometrics Summer School
As part of our commitment to learning, we provide support to the Uppsala Pharmacometrics Summer School. This is executed, among other actions, by making donations to a travel and housing fund for students, and sponsoring social events for participants.
Collaboration with universities and their internships
Several Pharmetheus employees are engaged in the education of young scientists at universities including the University of Uppsala, Paris-Saclay, and Paris-Descartes. Their contributions include teaching Master’s degrees students and welcoming students for internships.
Translating pharmacokinetics courses into French
Pharmacometrics Africa is a non-profit organization (NGO) that collaborates with local research organizations and academic groups to develop pharmacometrics in low and middle-income countries. To reach students in African French-speaking countries, the NGO had the idea to translate English courses into French. Pharmetheus contributed to this translation effort, providing their support free of charge.
