Patrik Ejerhed advances CSR and sustainability at Pharmetheus

Patrik Ejerhed plays a central role behind the scientific scenes at Pharmetheus. He is a financial controller whose role consists of budgeting, forecasting and preparing financial reports for internal operations - carried out according to strict requirements by law. His role extends across the globe, providing accounting support to Pharmetheus’ entities worldwide.

Patrik Ejerhed: “My initial impressions of Pharmetheus turned out to be entirely true.“ 

Patrik gained experience as an auditor at a number of Swedish companies after completing his academic studies in business and administration. The professional experiences provided him with invaluable insights into various industries, ranging from start-ups to large enterprises. He chose to join Pharmetheus to be part of a growing organization.

“I believe that my background fits well with the company’s scientific aspirations. The high-quality and traceability standards maintained by employees with a solid scientific background are applicable also to my role in finance. However, the challenge lies in scaling up processes and adapting to the rapid growth of Pharmetheus.”

This includes programmes such as a tailor-made, weekly work-out and stretching sessions led by a personal trainer to address potential consequences of desk-bound work as well as workshops with a psychologist to learn tools for reducing stress, and help employees deal with the daily pressures inherent in their jobs.

Holds a B.Sc in Business Administration and Economics (2019) from Uppsala University, Sweden.
