Milligan steered and grew the company through a period of rapid evolution – navigating the global pandemic, the shift to digital workplaces, AI advancements, and changing regulatory frameworks.
“During the pandemic, we achieved consecutive record performances, driven by a deep-rooted culture of teamwork and collectivism,” says Milligan. “Hearing how our team members' partners' companies handled those times reaffirmed for me that our team felt fully supported and valued.”
Milligan will formally accept the award at the American Conference of Pharmacometrics (ACoP) later this fall.
“The ISoP Leadership Award was a wonderful surprise,” he adds. “Stepping down as CEO makes the timing feel like a perfect bookend.”
Looking ahead, Milligan remains confident in Pharmetheus’ trajectory:
“Pharmetheus has never been about one individual; its collective strength will continue to broaden and deepen. Our core mission, helping our clients bring life-changing therapies to patients, remains unchanged now and into the future.”
Peter Milligan is retiring after seven successful years as CEO of Pharmetheus, and the board has appointed Jonas Möller as his successor.
