Pharmetheus is a proud partner of the SweDeliver (The Swedish Drug Delivery Center) initiative that recently was identified as being critical to the technological development in Sweden and awarded a position on the IVA Top100 list (Link in Swedish)
As a part of this initiative Senior Consultant Erik Sjögren and Uppsala University Scientist @Ilse Dubbelboer have authored two overview articles on authorized drug products for subcutaneous administration and physiological based pharmacokinetic / biopharmaceutics modeling of subcutaneous absorption.
This represents a starting point for the continued work with applying quantitative system pharmacology and physiologically based biopharmaceutics modeling to achieve an improved quantitative description, translation, and prediction of pharmacological interactions and drug delivery-dependent drug disposition.
