Data Programmer

Description
As a Data Programmer at Pharmetheus, you will join a senior and experienced data programming team, giving you a unique opportunity to learn from experts while shaping your own role and impact. You will work closely with colleagues across disciplines, contribute your ideas, and take ownership of meaningful data programming tasks. This is a full-time position based in our Uppsala Office, with flexible working hours and the possibility to work partly remotely.
Your role
Data programming operations
- Implement and manage data programming tasks within projects based on agreed specifications and timelines
- Produce high-quality modelling datasets and corresponding documentation
- Ensure appropriate Quality Control (QC) is performed on data programming deliverables
- Act as a data programming subject matter expert within project teams
Tools, processes, and development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal data programming processes and tools
- Support harmonization and strategic initiatives within the data programming team
- Develop, maintain, and improve documentation such as SOPs, operating instructions, and guidelines

Required Skills

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pharmacometrics or clinical drug development
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Experience with LaTeX
- Basic system administration or scripting experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in data programming, statistics, systems development, computer science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, gained in industry and/or academia (experience in academic research is considered equivalent)
- Experience in data programming activities related to clinical or research data
- Very good knowledge of R or other relevant programming languages (e.g. SAS)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
